Mudra Dhananjay

Mudra Dhananjay – born on the 9th of February, 2000 is currently pursuing her degree in Performing Arts at Reva University, Bangalore. She is the daughter and disciple of Guru Smt. Shubha Dhananjay in both the styles of Bharathanatya and Kathak and completed her Bharathanatya Rangapravesha successfully in the year 2012.
 
She bagged the award ‘Kala Prathibhotsava’ at the State-level competition and the titles of ‘Karnataka Kalashree’, ‘Nrithya Vilasini’, ‘Aradhana Samman’, etc.
She has completed her Senior grade examinations in Bharathanatyam and also in Kathak conducted by the Government of Karnataka. She has performed at various National festivals and has been appreciated to the fullest. 
She is an athlete and has bagged many medals to her credit. 
Kum. Mudra Dhananjay, along with team Natyantharanga led by her Mother cum Guru Smt Shubha Dhananjay, has performed extensively across the country at prestigious platforms at World famous Mysore Dasara, National Karavela festival at Orissa, Vishwa Kannada Sammelana at Belgaum, Lakshadeepotsava at Dharmasthala, Davanagere Utsava, Raichur Utsav, Hampi Utsava, Nandi Utsava, various festivals at Delhi, Mumbai, Udaipur etc.
Internationally, She has performed at the Bali International Festival, Bali, Indonesia, Beijing and Jinan, China and at the USA.
 
Mudra has also appeared on the small screen on Doordarshan, Udaya TV, Kasthuri TV, Sri Sankara TV, BBC Network etc with her Dance performance and Interviews.
 
Gifted with a sculpted figure and an attractive stage presence, Kum. Mudra Dhananjay constantly works hard with dedication towards perfection in the vast field of Dance.

Paris and London in the year 2004.
Lecture demonstration on Indian Classical Music and many concerts in Sri Lanka in December 2011.
Performed with the American Flautist, Ms. Laura Flawson.

Performances in India:
Baroda, Surat, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Hissar, Jodhpur, Jabalpur and regularly performs in Bangalore. He has also performed on All India Radio and many times on regional Television Channels.

Vijay presently teaches Sitar in Bangalore and lectures at IndiranagarSangeetha Sabha, Bangalore.  Vijay has been enabling his students to reach their potential in their musical journey.  One of his student has won the AIR music contest, a first for Bangalore.
